KATHMANDU, April 3: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the country’s political scenario has taken a turn for the better.
“New political developments which took place yesterday and today have diverted the course of the national politics,” said Dahal while addressing a program organized by the party in Kapilvastu on Saturday.
Referring to the demand for the resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli by the main opposition Nepali Congress, Dahal claimed that it was a new turn in the national politics as the Congress party decided to expedite the formation of a new government.
“I’ll have to keep myself busy holding a series of discussions and expediting initiatives for new government formation once I return to Kathmandu later today,” he said.
Addressing the participants of the program, he expressed his confidence that the incumbent government led by KP Oli will soon be toppled. “I’d like to congratulate you all in this changing context. Most probably, a new government will soon be formed. A new political atmosphere will be created.”
