KATHMANDU, Feb 1: Shivam New Diamond Academy (NDA) has bagged two wins in the second day of the second round matches in the ongoing 13th Red Bull Dhorpatan UM Women’s Double League Volleyball Tournament on Wednesday. 

NDA beat the departmental team Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) in its first match, while it saw off Shree Gaun Sports Club in the second. 

In the first match played at the Dhorpatan Club’s Sports Ground at New Bus Park, NDA beat in straight sets of TAC 25-12, 25-12, 25-17, while it overcame Shree Gaun 25-16, 25-12, 25-7 in the second. 

TOPS Higher Secondary Club also bagged two wins on the same day. 

TOPS saw off Meghauli Sports Foundation 25-8, 25-15, 25-14 in its first match, while it defeated Shree Gaun 25-8, 25-15, 25-10 in the second.

Likewise, the only unbeaten team of the league Armed Police Force (APF) beat Nepal Police Club (NPC) 25-16, 25-21, 25-10.  

NDA is at the top of the standings with 43 points from 15 matches, while APF is second with 35 points from 12 matches.
