New cave found in Parbat

PARBAT, Feb 3: A new cave has been detected at Chuwa in Kushma Municipality-12 in Parbat. The around 300 meters long cave has images of various gods and goddess inside and there are other beautiful scenes as well. 

A stream also runs through the cave named Laleshwar. 

Meanwhile, in a bid to conserve the cave, a passage has been dug to the pothole while local people have tidied up it and surrounding area. 

A Laleshwar Cave Conservation Committee has also been formed under the chairmanship of local resident Bishnu Pokharel. 

The new-found cave can turn into a tourist destination if properly publicised and conserved, local people viewed. 

They have also demanded support for the development of the cave. The cave is around one kilometer from Pokhara-Baglung Highway. 

The area is also famous in the aspect of religion and tourism.
