KASKI, July 13: A bridge has been constructed over the Seti river at Narayanthan temple. It connects Ward number 3 and 11 of Pokhara Metropolitan City.

The arch bridge constructed from steel truss acts as an alternative to the old bridge at the spot which is a key transit on the Prithvi highway to Pokhara, the capital city of Gandaki state.

The existing bridge each at Prithvichok and Mahendrapul are said to be relatively weak to bear the heavy load.

Vehicles were allowed to use the newly-constructed bridge on Friday, Pokhara metropolis' ward number 11 chair, Mohan Prasad Bastola, said. The bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs 112.5 million by the Central Bridge Division of the Department of Roads.
