Nepse rises by 57.65 points on Sunday

KATHMANDU, July 3: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Sunday increased by 57.65 points to close at 2,086.42 points.

The secondary market opened at 2,028.77 points and fell to a minimum of 2,021.21 points before taking an upward graph. The sensitive index that measures the performance of the blue chips companies also increased 10.21 points.

The indices of all 13 trading groups escalated in the intraday trading, with manufacturing and processing gaining the highest of 250.41 points. Along with a gain of 2.84 percent in the market index, the daily turnover amount also surged to Rs 2.48 billion.

Among the individual companies, Ngadi Group Power Limited had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 222.86 million. NESDO Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top gainer while ‘8.5% BOK Debenture 2086’ lost the highest percent of its share price.
