KATHMANDU, June 30: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday decreased by 14.83 points to close at 2,037.09 points.
The market opened at 2,051.92 points and spiked to the day’s high at 2,059.79 points in the first three minutes. The index then went into a straight fall in the successive period and hit the day’s low at 2,034.75 points when just 10 minutes of the trading was left. The market recovered around three points before it closed for the day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies declined by 2.42 points. The daily turnover declined to Rs 3.60 billion from Rs 3.71 billion on Thursday.
Only two groups including finance, and manufacturing and processing added 8.39 points and 1.99 points, respectively. Of the 11 losing groups, microfinance lost the largest of 62.37 points.
Among individual companies, 49 were recorded as gainers whereas 190 were the losers.
Nepal Finance Ltd had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 128.87 million. Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited lost the highest of 9.30 percent of its market price. Muktinath Krishi Company Limited which added 7.06 percent to its market value was recorded as the topmost gainer.
