Nepse falls 46.08 points on Tuesday, trade volume remains at Rs 2.96 billion

KATHMANDU, July 5: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Tuesday fell 46.08 points to close at 2,030.59 points.

The secondary market that opened at 2,076.67 points rose to a maximum of 2,091.43 points after a few minutes of the start of trading at 11 AM. However, the market index went into a series of fluctuations thereafter due to increased selling pressure of shares.

The single day turnover amount stood at Rs 2.96 billion, a fall from Rs 4.34 billion on Monday. In the intraday trading, all 13 groups landed in the red, with five of them losing three-digit points.

Sanima Bank Limited Promoter Share posted the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 302 million. Ghalemdi Hydro Limited was the topmost loser while CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the highest gainer.
