Nepse down 8 points

KATHMANDU, Aug 20: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has gone down 8. 2 points to close at 1188.07 points on Monday.

Similarly, sensitive index measuring transactions of the companies categorized as A has also gone down 1.78 points.

All the groups except productive sector have climbed down. Non-life insurance group has gone down 59.74 points while the productive sector has jumped 11.15 points.

A total of 603, 102 units of shares of 160 various companies worth Rs 226,172,093 were traded in the market according to the market regulator.

Nepal Investment Bank is the highest gainer today with Rs 18,966,641 under promoter shares and Rs 9,110,537 under ordinary shares.

Similarly, Unilever hits Rs 469 per unit of shares while Laghubitta with Rs 58 per unit of shares.

Likewise, Rastriya Beema Company has lost Rs 789 and Rs 152 per unit of shares under promoter and ordinary shares respectively.
