Nepathya flaunting their ‘Kuroop Anuhar’

KATHMANDU, May 29: Nepathya released the video of their sixth single ‘Kuroop Anuhar’ on Monday. The band has already released videos of ‘Koshiko Pani’, ‘Sirfula’, ‘Rama Rama’, ‘Hami Nepali’ and ‘Samjhi Rakha’ from the same album.

According to the press statement issued by Nepa-laya the song – ‘Kuroop Anuhar’ was written by poet Sarubhakta and composed by Vikram Gurung during their university days in the early 80s. The poet explains that the song is a lyrical portrayal of lonely and discarded youth.

Nepa-laya informed that ‘Kuroop Anuhar’ has been the opening act for Nepathya’s concert for all their 25 year celebration shows. The show starts with a spectacular entrance of the band aided by a choreographed coordination of lights, visuals and sound. The song is presented with the blue shade of lights beaming on stage blended with the psychedelic mood of the track. The released video consists of footages captured during the band’s 2017 Australia-New Zealand tour.

The press statement quoted Kiran Krishna Shrestha of Nepa-laya, the promoters of Nepathya and the producer of the video saying, “We have tried to experiment this video with wide angle shots. The entire video has been cut between wide shots and no close ups. We have also maintained a live concert feel in the song while cutting the video.”
