KATHMANDU, Feb 25: Nepalis living in Portugal can now get a passport and other consular services from the nearest Nepali Embassy in Madrid, Brussels, Berlin and Copenhagen, in addition to the Nepali Embassy in Paris, France. 

The new arrangement was made through the foreign ministerial level decision to address difficulties faced by Nepali citizens living temporarily in Portugal, according to the notice issued by the Embassy of Nepal in Paris on Friday.

Furthermore, a decision has been made to send a team from the Department of Passport in Kathmandu to collect passport applications in Lisbon, Portugal, and the date for collection of the applications by the team will be shared by the embassies later.
