KATHMANDU, June27: Money collected under the cordination of Nepali community living in Chicago, United States of America (USA) for the families of Nepal Army who died in American helicopter crash while searching and rescueing earthquake victims, has been handed over to Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Rajendra Chhetri.



Representative of The Wingman Foundation, handed the money to General Chettri at the program organized on Monday at army headquarters.



Rs 80,000 among Rs 1,63,000, collected in Amrit Aryal, resident of Chicago’s initiation, is handed to Nepal Army.



Captain Tapendra Bahadhur Rawal and Warrant Officer Second Class Basanta Bahadhur Tirara had died in the crash.
