Nepali youths set fire to a motorbike with Indian plate at Gaurifanta checkpoint

DHANGADHI, March 10: Large numbers of Nepali youths are protesting against the Indian security force SSB at Gaurifanta checkpoint .

Their demonstration is consequence of the aftermath of  the killing of one Nepali in SSB firing that occurred after the Nepali side tried to resist the disruption from the Indian security force SSB over the construction of  a culvert at Anandabazar located in Punarbas municipality bodering on Uttar Pradesh state of India.

The angry crowd of Nepali youths have broken the barrier of  Trinagar checkpoint. They have also set fire to one motorbike with an Indian plate.

They are chanting slogans against the Indian security force. 

Nepali security personnel have prevented them from crossing the border. The Indian security force are on the alert.  

One person died and some others sustained injuries as the Indian Security Force SSB opened fire to disperse the crowd on Thursday. The Indian embassy in Kathmandu, however, has denied any role of SSB in the incident.
