KATHMANDU, March 11: A Nepali worker has died due to cardiac arrest in South Korea.
The deceased has been identified as Bhupal Rai from Gaighat of Udayapur District, according to Nepali Embassy in Seoul. Rai, who fell unconscious after having dinner on Saturday evening, breathed his last at a local hospital during treatment. It is learnt that Rai had been suffering from heart-related ailments.

He had been working at a motor parts company at Hwaseong city in South Korea's Gyeonggi Province for the past four years. Rai had gone to South Korea as a worker under the Korea Employment Permit System (EPS). Nepal's acting ambassador to South Korea, Kiran Shakya, told Republica Online that Rai's body will be repatriated to home later this week.
