KATHMANDU, July 25: The Nepal women’s national cricket team returned to Nepal on Thursday after being eliminated in the group stage of the ACC Women’s Asia Cup underway in Sri Lanka.
In their first game of the group stage, Nepal defeated the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 6 wickets. However, Nepal then suffered losses to Pakistan and India, by 9 wickets and 82 runs, respectively.

From Group A, which included Nepal, India and Pakistan advanced to the semi-finals. Similarly, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh progressed to the semi-finals from Group B.
