KATHMANDU, Sept 23: A Nepali movie Yaree, a movie about transformation of civilization, is set to be screened at the theater of Film Development Board at Chabahil on Saturday (September 24).
The movie, which is directed and cinematographed by Yubaraj Rai, shows how modernity has impacted an old civilization.

Set in various cultural, religious, historical and touristy places including Salpapokhari, Silichho, Dobhane, Maiyung, over a dozen cine artists including Shyam Rai, Kalyan Rai, Prabin Puma, Dakchhya Rai, Jyoti Rai, Nirbhik Rai, Bishmita Rai, Sanju Rai, Jaika Rai, Janak Rai, Birkumar Rai have brilliantly performed in the movie.

Edited by Kiran Raj Thapa, the film’s dance director is Janak Rai. Prabin Puma is script writer, Dik Bantawa is dialogue manager, Daktar Kirant and Padam Rai are the music composers while Bhupal Rai and Chandra Ranohanchha are the lyrists.
Created under the banner of Silichung Films P. Ltd, Ganesh Giri, Urmila Rai, Dakchya Rai and Prabin Rai are the co-producers of the film.
