Two youths of Khotang die in Qatar

KHOTANG, July 10: Two youths of Khotang who had moved to Qatar in search of foreign employment have died within a span of five days.

Man Bahadur Katwal, 21, of Jantedhunga Rural Municipality-5, Ghodedanda died on July 4 while Sarbadhan Sunuwar, 33, of Ainselukharka Rural Municipality-2, Bakachol died on July 9. Khotang Social Services Society (KSSS) Doha, Qatar has expressed grief on losing two youths of the district. As informed by chief of Bakachol ward Santa Bir Tamang, Sunuwar was found dead in his own bedroom was said to have suffering from normal fever. On Sunday, he had gone for work after taking medicines. As his health worsened, he returned back and had slept. His friends who back from work in the evening found him dead. His dead body has been kept at Hamad hospital.

Sunuwar had been working in Qatar since the last 12 years. He had visited his family in Nepal just a month ago. Preparations are underway to bring the dead body of Sunuwar to Nepal. He was also a member of KSSS Doha, Qatar.

Meanwhile, Katwal who was working in Al Muftah Company, Qatar was found dead in his own room, informed Tila Bahadur Khatri, Chief of KSSS Doha, Qatar.
