NAWALPARASI, Nov 25: A bomb targeting two Nepali Congress candidates exploded at Hupsekot-5. Those targeted were Bisnu Lamichhane and Bisnu Kumar Karki, candidates for Provincial Assembly and House of Representatives elections.
An unidentified group detonated the bomb when the duo were on their way toDhowadi and Bundikali rural municipality for election campaign today. The group ran away after police open fired, Dipendra BC, sub inspector at District Police Office, Nawalpur said.

The candidates, who were escorted by police, were heading to hilly region. No casualties were reported.
