Nepalgunj to Kathmandu flight of Shree Airline lands in Jhapa

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: A Shree Airline plane that took off from the Nepalgunj Airport in Banke for Kathmandu has landed at Chandragadhi Airport in Jhapa.

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: A Shree Airline plane that took off from the Nepalgunj Airport in Banke for Kathmandu has landed at Chandragadhi Airport in Jhapa.


Flight No. 440 of Shree Airlines that took off at around 7:30 this morning, landed at Chandragadhi Airport at 9:06AM.

The flight was diverted to Chandragadhi Airport due to very low visibility in Kathmandu in the morning, according to the Kathmandu Airport.


When the plane arrived in Kathmandu, the visibility of the airport was only 1,500 meters. Now it has reached 1,600.


The Kathmandu Airport Office said that the plane will return to Kathmandu from Chandragadhi after the weather clears.


Flights from the Tribhuvan International Airport have been affected due to low visibility.
