KATHMANDU, Dec 30: Nepal Workers and Peasants Party has warned the federal parliamentarians not to pass the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agreement through parliament. The party is going to hold demonstrations at three different places in Kathmandu and turn the demonstration into protest assemblies at the federal parliament building, New Baneshwar, on December 31, Friday.
According to the party, separate processions will be taken out from Baneshwar (Ratnarajya Higher Secondary School), Koteshwor Tinkune and Maitighar in Kathmandu at 1 PM on Friday. Later, all the three processions will reach the three checkpoints of the parliament building in New Baneshwor and hold separate protest assemblies.
Similarly, on the day of the demonstration, various units of the party, people's and professional organizations have been assigned the responsibility of participating in the procession. The party has also issued an appeal to everyone to participate in the program.
