Nepal withdraws decision to host IIFA following criticism
Indian popular award, International Indian Film Academy Award (IIFA) is going to be held in Nepal. The cabinet has given permission to organize the award which will be organized by Nepal Tourism Board and co-organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
The government has formed a special committee to host IIFA 2019 in Nepal. It is estimated that the budget of the award ceremony would touch around Rs 1 billion. The government has decided to organize the award targeting Visit Nepal 2020
