KATHMANDU, June 4: Nepal is set to face the Netherlands today in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 Tri-Nation ODI series. The match will be held at the Forthill Cricket Ground in Dundee, Scotland, and will start at 3:45 PM Nepali time.
In the second match of the fourth round of the League 2 series, Nepal is aiming for its second consecutive victory. In the first match on Monday, Nepal secured a thrilling one-wicket win against Scotland. The Netherlands, meanwhile, will be looking for their first win in the series.
Road to ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 starts in September

So far, Nepal and the Netherlands have played five ODIs, with the Netherlands winning three and Nepal winning two.
In the League 2 standings, the Netherlands is in second place with 26 points from 20 matches, while Nepal is in seventh place with 8 points from 13 matches. The league features eight teams and serves as part of the qualification process for the 2027 World Cup.
By the end of the league, the top four teams will directly advance to the Global Qualifier for the 2027 World Cup, while the bottom four will have to go through the Qualifier Playoff.
