Nepal, having topped Group A, is aiming to maintain its winning form and secure a spot in the final with a victory over Bhutan.
However, Bhutan poses a significant challenge for Nepal. In 2019, Nepal lost to Bhutan with a 0-3 scoreline, and the Nepali team also faced defeat against Bhutan in 2017.
Bhutan's young team has delivered impressive performances in the ongoing Championship, reflecting their recent investment in football.
Nepal advanced to the semi-finals after a 1-0 win over Sri Lanka in the group stage and a 2-1 victory against Bangladesh in their second match.
Bhutan, on the other hand, lost 2-1 to India in their opening match but secured a place in the semi-finals by overcoming the Maldives 2-1 in their second group stage game. Bhutan played both matches with only 10 players.
