ROLPA, Sept 10: Cadres of Nepal Tarun Dal have shut down Liwang, the district headquarter of Rolpa following the murder of Rohit Pun.

President of Rolpa Municipality chapter of Nepal Tarun Dal, the youth wing of Nepali Congress, Rohit Pun, 29, was shot dead on Sunday. According to an eyewitness, Pun, a resident of Sunilsmriti Rural Municipality-4, was shot dead by Dev Bahadur Gharti, 28, at about 4:30 pm at Rest Point Restaurant after an argument broke out between them over a meal in the same restaurant. 

Transportation, shops, and educational institutions are closed.  

Police under suspicion have arrested Deb Bahadur Gharti, 29, of Dhabang-10, Rolpa on Sunday. Also, police have started an investigation on the case with other four people.
