KATHMANDU, April 24: Nepal has set a huge target of 239 runs for the Netherlands to win the Tri-Nations T-20 Series being played at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Kathmandu.
Winning the toss, the Netherlands invited Nepal to bat first.
Nepal in the allocated 20 overs was able to score 238 runs at the loss of three wickets. The 76-run partnership of Kushal Bhurtel and Kushal Malla helped Nepal to get a defendable score in the final of Tri-Nations T-20 Series.
Bhurtel solely contributed 77 runs to Nepal’s innings. Likewise, Malla contributed 50 runs, Vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee contributed 48 and Captain Gyanendra Malla contributed 33 runs.
Similarly, opener Aarif Sheikh scored 16 runs losing his wicket in the second over of the game.
