Asked to bat after losing the toss, Nepal posted a total of 156 runs, losing 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Kushal Malla of Nepal emerged as the top scorer, contributing 40 runs off 25 balls, including 3 fours and 2 sixes, while Dipendra Singh Airee remained not out with 5 runs.
