KATHMANDU, Sept 14: The government has blacktopped 675 kilometers of roads out of the targeted 800 kilometers of two-lane roads in the fiscal year 2023/2024. 


With this, the total length of two-lane blacktopped roads in the country has now reached 18,376 kilometers, according to the government’s annual progress report.

The report also highlighted that the goal was to construct 150 kilometers of four-lane roads, but only 78.3 kilometers were completed, bringing the total length of four-lane blacktopped roads to 223 kilometers.
