KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Nepal recorded 830 new cases, 1,500 recoveries and nine deaths linked with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past one day.
Altogether 830 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the past 24 hours while conducting 5,181 PCR tests at various labs across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The ministry stated that 248,423 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Nepal as of Sunday.

The country has now a total of 10,994 active cases of the coronavirus.
Fifteen hundred patients recovered from the viral disease in the past one day.
As many as 235,731 people who earlier tested positive for the virus have recovered as of Sunday.
Altogether, 1,698 people, including nine in the past one day, have succumbed to COVID-19 across Nepal so far, the ministry said.
