Nepal's COVID-19 death toll climbs to 91

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: Nepal has recorded eight more COVID-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours, according to Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: Nepal has recorded eight more COVID-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours, according to Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).


Kathmandu, Dhading, Saptari, Morang, Kapilvastu and Bara reported one COVID-19 related death each while two persons died due to coronavirus in Dhanusha in the past 24 hours. Of the deceased, two are females and eight are males.

"With this, the country's coronavirus death toll has reached 91," MoHP spokesperson Jageshwar Gautam told a virtual media briefing Wednesday afternoon.
