KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Bijay Gautam, the host of popular podcast 'The Inspiring Talk' and co-founder of WYN Studio was conferred with the prestigious Karmaveer Chakra Award and REX Karmaveer Global Fellowship at the Rex ConClive in Delhi on November 27.

This award is given to people across the globe who show relentless courage by walking on the path less trodden and initiating a wave of change in society.

Gautam received this award for his exceptional work in inspiring people through his podcast 'The Inspiring Talk'. Having touched more than 250,000 people and as a finalist for Asia's Best Podcast Award in Asia Podcast Summit the past month, Gautam continues to interview successful people from different walks of lives with an aim to inspire people to follow their biggest dreams.

Gautam, originally from Sunwal, Nawalparasi, is currently based in Delhi. After quitting his corporate career, he started his show in 2017 with the realisation that while everyone is running a race, not many feel inspired and motivated in real life, something he experienced himself. He believes “change begins within and until we own our narrative to inspire change, motivating anyone else is impossible”.

“Being recognized for the impact the show has been able to create further encourages me to share many more life transforming stories of people with my audience. To be felicitated and honored with the REX Karamveer Chakra Award has only strengthened my belief in my journey to inspire people through this podcast,” said Gautam.

The awardees for this year represent 10 plus countries from across the globe and were finalised after a rigorous selection process.
