KATHMANDU, July 12: Nepal has reported 82 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Speaking during a virtual media briefing organized by the ministry on Sunday afternoon, Spokesperson Dr Jageshwor Gautam said that new cases of COVID-19 were detected among the 3,916 real time PCR tests conducted in 25 labs across the country in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 infected patients has reached 16,801 including 8,589 recoveries and 38 fatalities. As many as 147 patients have returned home on Sunday after recovery, according to Dr Gautam.
