KATHMANDU, June 12: Nepal has recorded the highest single day recovery of 187 COVID-19 patients on Thursday.
Spokesperson for the health ministry, Dr Jageshwar Gautam in a daily press briefing said that as many as 187 patients (eight females and 179 males) of COVID-19 were discharged from various hospitals across the country.

With this, the COVID-19 recovery tally in Nepal has reached 861.
According to the health ministry, 1, 15,930 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests and 1, 78,143 Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDT) have been conducted so far with 5,194 PCR tests and 5,263 RDT tests in the last 24 hours.
Also, 1, 62,013 people are in various quarantine facilities and 3,738 patients of COVID-19 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers across the nation.
As of Thursday afternoon, Nepal has reported 4,614 cases of COVID-19 including 15 fatalities.
