KATHMANDU, March 15: Nepal recorded 83 new cases of COVID-19 along with 130 recoveries and zero death from the deadly virus on Tuesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 7,884 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 57 PCR and 26 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 4,782 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 4,671 are in self-isolation, 75 in institutional isolation, 30 in ICUs and six on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,950 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 15 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 13 cases were recorded in Kathmandu and two in Lalitpur districts.
