KATHMANDU, Oct 6: Nepal recorded 805 new cases of COVID-19 along with 911 recoveries and eight deaths on Thursday, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population.
As many as 10,672 COVID-19 tests were conducted on Thursday. Of them, 7,264 tests were conducted through the PCR method while 3,408 tests were conducted through the antigen method.

There are currently 16,383 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 14,728 are in home isolation, 1,214 in institutional isolation, 329 in ICUs and 112 on ventilators. Similarly, 242 people are currently in quarantine facilities.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 294 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 207 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 34 in Bhaktapur and 53 in Lalitpur districts.
