KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Nepal recorded 666 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday along with 622 recoveries and 11 deaths, according to the latest information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 12,020 tests were conducted on Tuesday. Of them, 569 PCR and 97 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus. So far, 67,09,905 people have been administered full doses of COVID-19 across the country.
Nepal records 2,622 new cases through 11,527 tests on Monday
There are currently 10,628 active cases of COVID-19 across Nepal. Of them, 9,512 are in home isolation, 784 in institutional isolation, 252 in ICUs, and 80 on ventilators. Similarly, 217 people are in quarantine.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 235 new cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 177 were recorded in Kathmandu, 25 in Bhaktapur, and 33 in Lalitpur districts.
