Nepal records 6,205 recoveries, 4,369 new cases and 109 deaths on Sunday

KATHMANDU, May 30: Nepal recorded as many as 4,436 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday along with 6,205 recoveries.

Nepal has been recording more recovery cases than new cases of COVID-19 continuously for the past few days.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 10,986 PCR tests and 1,784 antigen tests were conducted on Sunday.

The health ministry also recorded 109 cases of fatality related to COVID-19 on Sunday.

There are currently 108,897 active cases of COVID-19 in Nepal. Of them, 101,334 are in home isolation, 7,563 in institutional isolation, 1,545 in ICUs and 407 on ventilators.

Likewise, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 1,093 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday.
