KATHMANDU, July 24: Nepal recorded 347 new cases of COVID-19 along with 95 recoveries and two deaths from the virus on Sunday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 3,888 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 303 PCR and 44 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 3,177 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. So far, 11,956 people have died of the viral disease across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 216 cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. Among them, 169 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 12 in Bhaktapur and 35 in Lalitpur district.
Meanwhile, Kaski district recorded 27 cases of the disease on the day.
