KATHMANDU, Nov 18: Nepal recorded 299 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday along with 260 recoveries and six deaths, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 11,151 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 272 PCR and 27 antigen tests were tested positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 7,926 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 7,169 are in home isolation, 473 in institutional isolation, 224 in ICU’s and 60 on ventilators. Similarly, 98 are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,489 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 120 cases of the virus Thursday. Of them, 90 were recorded in Kathmandu, five in Bhaktapur and 25 in Lalitpur districts.
