KATHMANDU, Nov 26: Nepal recorded 270 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday along with 302 recoveries and two deaths, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 10,446 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 242 PCR and 28 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 7,495 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 6,896 are in home isolation, 391 in institutional isolation, 175 in ICU’s and 33 on ventilators. Similarly, 98 are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,518 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 134 cases of the virus on Friday. Of them, 92 were recorded in Kathmandu, 12 in Bhaktapur, and 30 in Lalitpur districts.
