KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Nepal recorded 265 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday along with 357 recoveries and two deaths, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 8,617 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 238 PCR and 27 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 6,532 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 6,062 are in home isolation, 324 in institutional isolation, 114 in ICU’s and 32 on ventilators. Similarly, 98 are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,543 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 112 cases of the virus on Monday. Of them, 79 were recorded in Kathmandu, 10 in Bhaktapur, and 23 in Lalitpur districts.
