KATHMANDU, Dec 5: Nepal recorded 205 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday along with 436 recoveries and one death, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 10,747 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 200 PCR and five antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.
Nepal records 6,205 recoveries, 4,369 new cases and 109 deaths...
There are currently 6,642 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 6,163 are in home isolation, 344 in institutional isolation, 107 in ICU’s and 28 on ventilators. Similarly, 97 are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,541 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 103 cases of the virus on Sunday. Of them, 63 were recorded in Kathmandu, six in Bhaktapur, and 34 in Lalitpur districts.
