KATHMANDU, June 14: Nepal recorded 2,745 new cases of COVID-19 along with 4,187 recoveries and 41 deaths on Monday.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 7,449 PCR tests and 5,841 antigen tests were conducted on Monday. Of them, 2,745 tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19. With this Nepal’s COVID-19 casetally has surged to 634,605 including 540,439 recoveries and 8,506 deaths.

There are currently 58,868 COVID-19 patients in home isolation, 4,389 in institutional isolation, 967 in ICUs and 285 on ventilators.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded 598 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. Of them, 455 were detected in Kathmandu, 69 in Bhaktapur and 74 in Lalitpur districts.
