KATHMANDU, April 26: Nepal recorded 10 new cases of COVID-19 along with 18 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Tuesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 5,226 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, eight PCR tests and two antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.
38 new cases of coronavirus traced on Saturday
There are currently 261 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 260 are in self-isolation, and one in institutional isolation. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded seven cases of COVID-19 on the day. Of them, the four cases were recorded in Kathmandu, two in Lalitpur and one in Bhaktapur districts.
