KATHMANDU, July 16: Nepal recorded 1,875 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday along with 2,164 recoveries and 21 deaths.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 6,858 PCR tests and 3,208 antigen tests were conducted on Saturday. Of them, 1,310 PCR tests and 565 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the COVID-19.

So far, 9,527 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in Nepal.
There are a total of 23,477 COVID-19 patients in home isolations and 2,475 in hospitals across the country as of Friday afternoon.
Likewise, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 428 new cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 299 were detected in Kathmandu, 52 in Bhaktapur and 77 in Lalitpur districts.
