KATHMANDU, July 8: Nepal recorded 1,875 new cases, 1,286 recoveries and 29 deaths due to COVID-19 on Thursday.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 5,374 PCR tests and 5,160 antigen tests were conducted on Thursday. Of them, 1,875 tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19. With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 casetally has surged to 692,849 including 615,616 recoveries and 9,320 deaths.
There are currently 23,692 COVID-19 patients in home isolation, 2,755 in institutional isolation, 572 in ICUs and 157 on ventilators.
