Nepal records 1,830 recoveries, 1,330 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday

KATHMANDU, Sept 21: As many as 1,830 people recovered from COVID-19 on Tuesday, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population. Similarly, Nepal recorded 1,330 new cases of COVID--19 and five deaths from the deadly virus on the same day.

KATHMANDU, Sept 21: As many as 1,830 people recovered from COVID-19 on Tuesday, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population. Similarly, Nepal recorded 1,330 new cases of COVID--19 and five deaths from the deadly virus on the same day. 


So far, 875,959 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded across the country along with 754,000 recoveries. Likewise, 11,053 people have succumbed to the contagious disease in Nepal.

There are currently 21,524 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 20,164 are in home isolation, 1,360 in institutional isolation, 335 in ICUs and 107 on ventilators. Similarly, 250 people are currently in quarantine facilities.


Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 402 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 261 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 43 in Bhaktapur and 98 in Lalitpur districts.
