KATHMANDU, May 10: Nepal has recorded the highest single day COVID-19 death tally of 139 in the past 24 hours.
The number of deaths is so far the highest number of deaths linked to the COVID-19 recorded in a single day.

According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), as many as 139 people succumbed to COVID-19 on Monday.
With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 3,859 as of Monday afternoon. There are currently 910 COVID-19 patients in ICUs and 295 on ventilators.
