KATHMANDU, Jan 22: A total of 302 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded while conducting PCR test on 3,554 individuals in the country in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of active cases of infection in the country stood at 3,641 on Friday.
The ministry further shared that the number of total infected has reached 268,948 in the country till today. Similarly, 480 infected persons recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours.
Similarly, seven more deaths attributed to COVID-19 were reported on Friday. With this, total deaths caused by the viral infection has reached 1,986 till January 22.
