Nepal Police announces vacancies for Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector

KATHMANDU, Oct 20: Nepal Police has unveiled a recruitment drive with more than 350 positions up for grabs. Specifically, 96 vacancies are available for the role of Police Inspector, while an additional 260 opportunities are offered for Assistant Sub Inspectors of Police.

KATHMANDU, Oct 20: Nepal Police has unveiled a recruitment drive with more than 350 positions up for grabs. Specifically, 96 vacancies are available for the role of Police Inspector, while an additional 260 opportunities are offered for Assistant Sub Inspectors of Police.


The application window is set to be open from November 5 to December 15. In accordance with the official notice issued by the Police Headquarters, prospective candidates can submit their applications online for the Police Inspector position. However, for the Assistant Sub Inspector of Police role, applications must be submitted during regular office hours, except on public holidays.

Applicants for the Police Inspector position are required to pay a fee of Rs 1,200. If individuals choose to apply for multiple positions, an additional charge of 20 percent (equivalent to Rs 240) will be incurred for each group.


For the Assistant Sub Inspector of Police post, there is a fee of Rs 500, and, similar to the Police Inspector position, an extra 20 percent fee (Rs 100) applies for each additional group.


To be eligible for the Police Inspector role, applicants must be between 20 and 25 years of age. For the Assistant Sub Inspector of Police position, candidates should have completed 18 years and should not exceed 24 years.
