Nepal-Pakistan Friendship T-20 Cricket Tournament concludes

KATHMANDU, March 15: The 6th annual Nepal-Pakistan Friendship T-20 Cricket Tournament concluded on Sunday.

Secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Kedar Neupane handed over prizes to the winners of Nepal-Pakistan Friendship T-20 Cricket Tournament.

A total of 12 Nepali cricket clubs participated in the 10-day cricket tournament which was organized by Pakistani Embassy in Kathmandu.

Great Himalayan Cricket Club won the tournament while Angles Cricket Club became the runner-up. Gyanendra Malla, captain of Nepal International Cricket Team graced the event as special guest. Addressing the event, Secretary Neupane lauded the efforts of the embassy in organizing the annual event and said that there is a huge potential for further developing bilateral relations between Pakistan and Nepal by organizing such sport events.

Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, Syed Haider Shah, expressed commitment to continue to encourage efforts to bring youths of two countries together. This, he said was an important cornerstone of the people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and Nepal.
