KATHMANDU, April 10: Nepal recorded four new cases of COVID-19 along with 48 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Sunday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 2,740 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, three PCR and one antigen test turned out to be positive for the virus.
38 new cases of coronavirus traced on Saturday
There are currently 604 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 568 are in self-isolation, 24 in institutional isolation, 11 in ICU’s and one on a ventilator. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded two cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. The cases were reported in Lalitpur district.
